From their website [1]:

The Academy (formerly Keady Upton) is a small Irish Dance school in Perth, with its primary focus being on fostering the love of a unique and amazingly beautiful art form. A traditional dance style that has developed into somewhat of a sport in recent years yet maintains its historical roots. Our students are given opportunities to perform locally, nationally and in recent years, overseas. They are extremely successful on the competitive stage, but for the majority of our class, the emphasis is placed on performing and engaging their passion with a live audience not scrutinising their every movement.

Engaging a love of ones own culture, can only lead to deeper connections with the persons involved. The end result is a culture which unites, unifies and strengthens its connections with those at home and those who call other parts of the World home. A culture based on hard work and passion, the epitome of a country that is ..... Ireland. Through our dance we celebrate what was theirs.......what is ours and....... what will be.
