Kennedy Irish Dance was established in January 2015 and operates both adult and kids and ceili classes. Owner and instructor Emily Kennedy began dancing at the age of four with the Mary Deveney School of Dancing, Galway in the West of Ireland. Emily danced competitively for 14 years competing in numerous regional and international competitions including the All Ireland and World Championships in both ceili and solo. On retiring from competitive dancing, Emily was offered a position with a professional touring company and thus began her professional dance career. Emily qualified as an Irish Dance teacher in 2013 and is registered to the Australian Irish Dance Association Inc. and An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha, Dublin, Ireland.
