The Meghan Torno School serves to encourage, inspire, and motivate students to dance and be the best they can be. Our philosophy is to teach in a friendly and positive way increasing each dancer’s self-confidence. We encourage communication between the students, parents, and teaching staff. Our ultimate goal is to provide a learning atmosphere that is healthy and fun. We strive to instill a sense of belonging, friendships, school spirit, and confidence in each and every student. A primary concern of the Meghan Torno teaching staff is to maintain a comfortable class size so that your dancer receives the attention he/she deserves in a family-like atmosphere. In addition to classes, Meghan Torno students are invited to participate in such fun activities as the St. Patrick's Day parades, performances, competitions, festivals, and even TV appearances! We are proud to pass along our love of Irish dancing to children from all backgrounds; thus, children do not have to be Irish to participate!

The Meghan Torno School enrolls new students, boys and girls ages 3 and up, throughout the year. From beginner to our seasoned champion dancers, hard work, creativity, and fun generate a certain spirit and style that is unique to the Meghan Torno School. We teach solo, ceili (group), and figure dancing, from new beginners to championship levels. The school has dedicated teachers whose goal is to provide the highest quality of teaching and to ensure that students at every skill level reach their full potential. At the Meghan Torno School, it is important to maintain small and personal class sizes in order to provide quality attention to each child. Our instructors dance side-by-side with our students, giving hands-on instruction, and demonstrating proper technique in an encouraging and supportive manner. We recognize that our students have different goals, and we do our very best to help each student attain these goals. Individual and group attention is vital in developing skills in any art form or sports activity. At the Meghan Torno School, students learn discipline and self-confidence, while building camaraderie, social skills, and sportsmanship.
