Irish Dance Idaho
From their website [1]:
Located in Boise, IRISH DANCE IDAHO continues its mission to create performing experiences, not only for the IDI dancers but for the many audiences that follow them. Under the direction of Rebecca Ingram and Instructors Heidi Grigg, and Spencer Ingram, dancers are taught and drilled on the correct, difficult techniques required for traditional and Show-style Irish Step, specifically in the Munster tradition. The talented IDI dancers continue to delight audiences throughout the Northwest with their rhythmic high energy performances.
IRISH DANCE IDAHO enjoys the freedom to express with exclusive traditional and show-style choreography created specifically for the IDI Dancers. They also learn, practice, and perform traditional ceili or party dances originating hundreds of years ago in Ireland. With at least weekly classes, the IDI dancers work hard to achieve proper technique, coordination, and muscle memory for incredibly difficult moves, while sharing their skills and talents with appreciative audiences year-round.
IRISH DANCE IDAHO continues with its mission: To take a challenging and beautiful art form, create a healthy learning atmosphere, make learning and performing affordable for our families, and enjoy working hard to reach a level of mastery with traditional, modern, individual, ceili dancing, and Soft and Hard shoe which are drilled heavily each week. It's HARD WORK! But the IDI dancers are up to the task. The dancers and families at Irish Dance Idaho are always looking for opportunities to give back to the community. IDI dancers can be found hard at work learning and helping in the community - whether they are three years old or seventy!
