Inis Cairde School of Irish Dance
From their website [1]:
Failte, or welcome, to The Inis Cairde School of Irish Dance! Our School has been dedicated to cultivating a love of traditional Irish dance while sustaining a community that fosters lifelong friendships since 1999.
Inis Cairde’s teachers are united not only in their love of Irish step dancing but also in their passion for nurturing the experience of each individual student here through this wonderful art form and sport. We challenge our students to set goals for themselves while teaching them to embrace and enjoy the process. We promote a strong technical base in Irish step dancing at all levels, but of equal importance to us is the chance to cultivate self-confidence and a sense of personal achievement in all of our dancers.
We are proud of our dancers who have succeeded in Irish dancing competitions and who regularly give back to the local community through performance. What we’re most proud of, however, is the number of students for whom the time spent here learning the valuable life lessons of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, has led them on to successful professional careers and relationships as adults. It’s their personal growth that inspires us as a school and makes our community a wonderful place to get involved.
