Greene Academy of Irish Dancing
From their website [1]:
The Greene Academy of Irish Dance enrolls dancers throughout the year. New dancers range in age from 4 - 15 years old. The school began in 1993 in a small garage with 8 students. The school has since grown to about 90 students. Through weekly lessons, dancers are guided towards improvement in skills and techniques and challenged to perform in various competitions. Equally important to the student's enjoyment of dancing, is the establishment of friendships among the dancers, and learning to support each other and work as a team. Team dancing, such as figure dancing, and figure choreography, are emphasized in addition to solo dancing.
The students of the Greene Academy of Irish Dance participate in dancing competitions throughout North America including major championships such as the North American Irish Dance Championships and the World Championships. Additionally, dancers perform throughout the year at various events, including the annual Greene Academy benefit concert.
