At our Academy, you or your child will learn each step from a master. His philosophy is that each student should be successful at each level before progressing to the next. Those basic skills set the foundation for great dance and future success.
Parents surveyed for the Academy responded with resounding praise. They said their kids really liked and respected their instructor. The parents overwhelmingly felt our instructor challenged their child to do better, but was still compassionate and understanding. They felt the level of excellence in instruction at Dowds Irish Dance Academy was exceptional. Adult students also felt that Marty Dowds was an excellent instructor and have enjoyed Marty’s teaching and Irish humor. Marty Dowds is a TCRG (Commission Certified Irish Dance Teacher) and the school is certified with Irish Dance Commission (An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha – CLRG) offering students the opportunity to competitively dance.
