Dance Camps

Camp Rince Ceol[edit]

  • Established 1999 by Sheila Ryan Davoren and Tony Davoren, owners of The Ryan School of Irish Dance in Louisiana.
  • Camps located in Los Olivos, CA, Notre Dame, IN, and Schenectady, NY. Schenectady was the original location and hosts the most camp sessions per summer.
  • Children's camps are ages 7-18, and Adult Camp is 21 and over. One week of Adult camp is available at the Schenectady location.
  • Dancers at all levels are able to attend, but must have hard shoe experience and youth campers must be enrolled at a school with a TCRG/ADCRG that can sign a permission form.
  • Mostly caters to CLRG dancers.

Camp Rince Nua[edit]

  • Established 2011 by Susan Daly Stanek (RIP), former owner of the Ridgewood Irish Dance Academy (The Jig Factory). Currently run by Susan's daughter Ashling Daly Stanek, TCRG.
  • Located in Lenox, MA, and runs for one week per summer.
  • Dancers at all levels are eligible to attend.
  • Mostly caters to Open Platform dancers.

Reels in the Rockies[edit]

  • Established 2017 by Cara Casey O'Loughlin and Mark O'Loughlin, owners of the Casey O'Loughlin Academy of Irish Dance.
  • Located in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, and runs for one week per summer.
  • Dancers at all levels are able to attend, but must have hard shoe experience.
  • Combines Irish Dance instruction with other outdoor activities.

Riverdance Summer School[edit]

  • Camps located in Boston, MA and Dublin, Ireland.
  • Junior Camps for ages 6-11 and Senior Camps ages 12 and up.
  • Assists dancers ages 18 and older in auditioning for Riverdance.

USAIDA Summer Camp[edit]

  • Established 2022 and located in East Stroudsburg, PA.
  • Exclusively for USAIDA dancers.
