From their website [1]: Welcome to the Avoca Irish Dance Academy (formerly Moriarty-Moffitt School of Irish Dance). At Avoca Irish Dance Academy, we strive to be your dancer’s home away from home! We are invested in all our students and take a personal interest in each of their goals and aspirations in dance and outside of our studio.

We Create Excellent Dancers AND Excellent Humans!

With an elevated dance curriculum, we offer a competitive program for all who are interested. Performance opportunities which allow dancers to embrace and share their love of the Irish culture and dance history. We offer team dancing at all levels and promote a quality team curriculum. A guided journey through the Grade Exam process opening many opportunities outside of competition.

We teach dance with our core values in mind: Generosity, Respect, Responsibility, Perseverance, Service, Integrity, Humility, Loyalty, Honesty and Courage, and Gratitude. These are all virtues, we feel, are crucial in the development of “Excellent Humans." Our dancers become team players and learn to work with a strong work ethic, discipline, and pride. Community Service is a key element at Avoca and we encourage our dancers to give back.
